Note Drop Redoubt Top Right; Military Hospital is to Immediate Left of Funnel in Forefront and Pilot House in center at bottom of picture.

The Pilot House was built in 1847 and was also used as a telegraph station.  It was demolished in March 1914 to form an approach for the railway.
