Headline for
The
burnt out car below was seen on June 15th. This has been left at Grand
Shaft Barracks site. Although the vehicle was removed quickly by the
local authority the junk left behind is all too obvious. The recent
scrub-cutting exercise has improved the site but there is still rubbish lying
around.
The
situation is probably not helped by visitors being able
to park on the site. There is no reason to have cars on this part of the
Heights as there is ample parking at
The
parking sign gives permission for free 24 hour parking at Grand Shaft Barracks
site. If cars were unable to reach this area, fly-tipping and the sort of
thing we see below would occur much less, if at all.
