The Society’s Second Volunteer Project – November 10, 2001

Your help is needed !

For those who can remember our June issue, newsletter 2, we reported on the fantastic job of clearing a huge amount of scrub from the North Entrance.  That was done by a team of 10 volunteers shifting 50 wheel barrow-loads of rubbish, brambles, grass and scrub.  Before we can move onto a new area there is about 6 hours work left still to do at the North Entrance which couldn’t be completed previously due to time constraints.

The project day is on November 10, and will start at 10:00 am and will go on no later than 4:00 pm.

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided but please bring a packed lunch. Please also wear suitable clothes and footwear.

We very much hope that you will join us in this, our second ‘event’. By starting off with relatively minor jobs the hope is that we can then start to tackle the more major works which as we all know, the Heights badly needs.

You don’t need to confirm your attendance (although if you wish to it would be appreciated). We look forward to meeting you again.
