Personnel at Western Heights

As previously stated it is not the intention here to try to list every serviceman ever stationed at the Heights but where such information presents itself and where it is indisputable then I feel that its inclusion here will add some life to the story.

       Here's one to start with...

Could theirs be the double funeral cortège here ?  The date's about right...?

The Dover Express said for July 21, 1905...

"The funeral took place on Saturday with full military honours, of Private Horden, of the Buffs who died at the Hospital, Western Heights.  The deceased had been under the medical officer since the regiment arrived at Dover, and the day before his death, his discharge, through ill health, was published in orders."
