Hospital Sally Port

This graffiti has been etched into a large stone just inside the entrance where the pulley wheels and chain ties are, possibly with a bayonet.  It reads 'T.R. 1889 BUFFS'.  

This date of 1889 ties in with a Buffs regiment stationed in SouthFront Barracks between 1886 & 1889.  Perhaps T.R. etched in his initials and the date on his last day there...
